Here at MINORE™, we are dedicated to advancing sustainable mineral solutions to do just that and help organisations and communities to collectively combat the climate crisis.
This mission has taken us on a remarkable journey of transformation, stemming from our roots as a mining and quarrying family business in the 1950s. Fast forward seven decades, we have drawn on that expertise and we’re now specialists in three key areas. As well as mining existing mineral deposits, we also repurpose discarded minerals into new products and create bespoke biodiversity solutions.
In recent years, we have undertaken extensive research and development into manufacturing and blending soils and primary clay mixtures for a variety of purposes. Tailored to enhance soil preservation, help water management, carbon capture, and support biodiversity initiatives, our bespoke solutions cater to the needs of agriculture, horticulture, green construction, and beyond. Our approach aligns closely with new strategies and regulations, including biodiversity net gain requirements, aimed at conserving our natural environment and resources.
Our site on a former Victorian brickworks and ash pit provides the ideal setting for manufacturing speciality minerals through lean, agile, and sustainable processes. These repurposed minerals are used for a wide variety of industrial applications, including adhesives, resins, cosmetics, and mixed recycled plastic composites. Moreover, they have benefits as antibiotic-free animal feed mycotoxin binders, low carbon cement supplement, and in agrochemicals and suspension fertilisers.
